Packing Services...

As part of any removal service you can have the option of a packing service.

This service comes in many ways:-

A standard household packing service
This is the most common packing service when you are moving within the same country. Most removal companies we speak with that can offer a removal service will most definitely be able to offer a full household packing service to. This may include packing on the same day as moving before the standard removal service begins. This is only recommended if the size of the move is small and therefore including a packing service on the same day will not rush the may part of moving. Some companies that may only have availability to offer a packing service on the same day of moving may increase the staff level to achieve a same day packing - same day moving service. However most moves will need a whole day to complete and therefore the packing service is completed the day before. There will be separate charges for a packing service, however this never is as costly as many people think.

A part-packing service
This type of service is the same as any standard packing service but essentially for customers that have already started the packing of boxes etc. Therefore instead of paying for a full packing service we can find tailored packing service quotes for as much or as little packing to be completed. This most often can be completed on the same day as the move as it tends not to take to long and of course the cost is less compared to a full packing service.

Fragile only packing service
This service is recommended to customers if you have a large amount of items that are fragile i.e. china glass, crockery etc. Most often specialised removal packers will be used for this as fragile items will be wrapped and packed to a very high standard to avoid anything being broken during the move.

Individual item packing
This service is often used for large unique items being moved either within the UK or abroad. The individual item can anything from a Grand Piano to and expensive piece of jewellery. A quote for this type of service would certainly depend on what type of item it is, the cost of the item and destination it's going to. If the item is very expensive we would also recommend you take out a separate insure cover based on the cost. Therefore combined with the expert packing service of the item along with it being full insured, this will give you 100% assurance when move date comes around.

Export packing service
Often known as wrapping and packing this is the most common service for customers moving abroad and in fact is the most recommended service to any customer moving to any country with any amount of belongings. The reason for this is that when moving overseas it's generally longer between collection to delivery, compared to a UK move. There will certainly be either a container used for shipping or removal vehicle, either way your belongings are going further, therefore this takes more time. Having a wrapping and packing service is a secure method of reducing the risk of any loss or damage. If for whatever reason an item is lost or damaged then as the removal company has completed the export packing service, everything will be fully insured.

A packing service has many benefits and with very little extra cost we would always recommend to every customer moving to let us at least get a cost comparison of removal quotes based without a packing service and with a packing service. With no obligation to go ahead it's worth a look.

Free packing materials
One additional bonus when you have a packing service as part of your move is that the packing materials will come free of charge. On occasion a packing service may be priced at almost the same cost as the materials alone based on trade prices of packing materials to retail costs.
